That is me . LC is Laura Clark , she scraped the binding on the edge of the necks/body .

#31 was a job number , it was the first one after prep sanding ... I do not recall what it was .

I will answer the obvious question of "where have you been " under that heading .

according to the photo in the issue of GUITAR WORLD -ACOUSTIC #56 2002 ,with James Taylor on the cover ,turn to page 21 ,there you will see the advertisement for Rickenbacker's 700C/12 Comstock .....even with the goofy lighting and shadows , you can see the strings are installed just as they are on ...

Those diagrams will not help the timid .

If you need a wiring diagram ... I can email this to you .
I draw them out as a picture of the parts rather than the schematic ... a hassle for me ... makes it easy for you .

There is a nice big cavity to work in ..this is NOT an ES-335 at all . NO fishing to deal with . However , you will have to deal with the Rick-O-Sound jack set up . Placing the volumes next to the Switch and the tones near the 5th knob is easy . Just time consuming . Then comes ... what do you do wi...

Lots of personal preference points to think about. The 660-12 is a wider neck than the 330,360 or 370/12 string. The neck of a 300 series is as wide as a Fender Tele or Strat. But with the binding, and the inset of the outside string, the spacing is actually narrower than Fender's six string guitars...

Do you have the Rick-O-Sound jack set up or is it the dual mono jack set up .

That is the difficult area . The rest is straight ahead .

That month ...that is the number of jack plate that was applied to an instrument. These are not applied in numerical order .. at least not prerfectly . They are just a number applied to an instrument . The week thing .......I don't know how accurate that really is as it is NOT necessary from the fac...

Okay a little rough ... sorry ......you can't see the tongue in my cheek . If you play really hard , then you will need more relief . If you are a noodler (John Patatucci) then you want NO arch /dip to the neck , or only a couple .001's of an inch ......basicly dead straight . NO "Underbow"

I have re strung many acoustic 12 string the Rick method over the years . When I worked for a retail store in the 1980's we would "get in" numerous YAMAHA acoustic 12 strings at one time . I would take 4 of these and do my thing to them . one was to recut the nut and restring it like a Ric...

D'Addario had this info at their web site . The tension difference between round wounds and flat wound was in fact an issue , however that is no longer the case . HOW the string is made (flat or round wound ) IS the issue . You can make a high tension flat wound (Roto Sound Jazz sets) or low tension...

What I did for the Bauguss bass was this . I had a sheet of veneer thickness sanded to the dimension that I needed . I used 'Hide Glue' to afix it to the slots . This was done so that with heat , it could be removed easily . Yellow wood workers glue does not release as easily . Epoxy ... what a head...
