Re: Touring Japan: Rent or BYOB?

Wow, thanks for all the food for thought and helpful information! I think I will check out the rental option and see if that's even a possibility, and if it's not, I'll get a good case. I had Calzone make me a flight case for our trip to Europe several years ago, but it holds both the 4003 and my 12...

Touring Japan: Rent or BYOB?

Hey everyone, We'll be doing a two-week tour of Japan in October. I'm debating whether to bring my own 4003 or to try to rent one there. I'd love to play my own bass, plus I've heard it might be incredibly expensive to rent one there, but I'm protective of my bass and am worried about it making the ...

Re: Another great video by Clatter!

Time for some modern light weight amps, Amy! I speak from experience. 8) They're light in weight but not in tone. I have been using Walter Woods amps for decades now, and I also have an Aguilar Tone Hammer 500, all goes through custom built Low Down Sound (LDS) cabinets. Argh!!! I know, I RE...

Thanks, I will! Lots of physical therapy has really helped! Basses are heavy and I'm just a wee little lass! :D

Re: Another great video by Clatter!

Hey, thanks, guys! I was just popping in to post it – thanks for doing that!! I'm so glad you like it! It definitely was a lot of fun, although we were sad not to be part of the snowboarding portion but I had messed up my back and was just happy I could actually hold a bass at that point! ;)

Re: New Clatter vid

We really need to get back out to the east coast to play. Maybe this fall? Right now all our eggs are in the Europe basket! I really lucked into that first Ricky. If I hadn't acquired a bass that was so comfortable to play and sounded so awesome that early in my playing career, I don't know that I'd...

Re: MILWAUKEE CONFLUENCE 2013

Woody treated us like royalty and gave us every detail about what it's like to live on the Oregon coast! He told us all the places we needed to visit, took us to the VIP room at an awesome local pub for dinner, and treated us to delicious baked goods and espresso from the farmer's market for breakfa...
