Re: Cellar Dwellar From Norris Green

Peter;
I had a bang up time reading your accounts of the Iron Door during those early years. Thanks for all the insight.

Maybe it's just me............but I really like the color scheme as well as the checkered binding. Now only if it came in a lefty model! :mrgreen:

Best bang for the buck?

Which would be the best sounding amp for a Rick and at a good price? Markbass looks like a winner to me but which model. I would want one to be loud enough to compete with the drums and be heard in small gigs. Thanks.

Is something like that correctable or would it sound different in another room. Would I need to have the amp serviced or is it simply that way and that's that? Thanks.

What is Resonate Frequency?

Can you tell me exactly what resonate frequency is and how this applies to my problem? I own an Ampeg 115HP which has amazing sound however certain notes (just a few) causes a vibration or buzzing coming from the cab. I was told that it might be the resonate frequency of the room. What's that mean? ...

Could you elaborate a bit more? I'm using the amp in my basement. Could that be the problem? Thanks.

Ampeg vibration

I recently purchased an Amped 115 HP combo(off Ebay) and at higher volumes when striking certain notes, I hear a definite buzz in the cabinet. Is something like this common and if not would it be serviceable? Any thought? Thanks.
