wow. I never realized how rare BG is. The other guitarist in my band (well..now defunct band) plays a 330 BG..he's had a number of rics over the years, and that's the only one he held onto..as well as being his last RIC aquisition.
Cheers,
-Collin

Re: Do you know what I love about Jetglo Ric's?
Yeah..Jetglo is awesome. I mean it's like....the question comes to mind, is..." how much more black can it get?" and the answer is "none....none more black..". -Nigel Tufnel I particularily like Jetglo w/gold pickguards & TRC . Would love a v64 with gold guards.. Cheers, -Col...

Something Fishy about this Ric?
Why does the color look too dark on this V64? Also, see the TRC...I've NEVER seen a font like that...look fake to you?

Re: Buying Signature models without Papers
there's too much in-fighting and bickering for my liking... haha. well..at least I know it's consistent world-round. I work at a shop, so I get to deal with it everyday, there is indeed too much bickering. Oh well.. The Lammy is looking good! I'm more of a Vespa guy, I just got tired of wren...

Re: Buying Signature models without Papers
Personally I wouldn't purchase one without a certificate. Thanks Guys! I fortunately live down the road from the Rickenbacker factory, so if they do offer validation on a high-value signature model, it's definitely (and easily) worth the trip. Cheers, -Collin Ps..Tony! Is that your SX150 ? You invo...

Buying Signature models without Papers
What does everybody think about purchasing collectible signature model Ricks that are missing their papers (or Certificate). JL, RM, PT, CW etc etc...?
Even if they are legitimate? Does that significantly decrease the value of the item as a whole?
