I'm playing thru a 65 DRRI...

I had Paul W put in hi gains in my 650 and it was a big improvement over the hum buckers... but it still feels like the guitar is overdriving the amp...

do i need to change the wiring harness? or the pots?

For years now I've been playing the "standard" ric set of strings, 10-42, but I'd just got to my local shop and buy strings individually, since I would replace the 10s with 9s and the 13s with 12s to make it easier to play... So I decided to use the 10s and 13s and yeah, the chime is loude...

I had a blast and can't wait for the next one!

My 650c was made this year...

Has anyone put hi gains in the 650C? I love the guitar but was thinking the hi gains might open it up a little more...

On the recording it's a 330 and a casino... but I usually play the 12 live... I just hate changing gu...
