Love the deletion of the pick guard. The two deck pick guard design is an interesting and signature element, but when you have wood, and a finish like that it would be a shame to hide it with a big blob of plastic!

I've just been swimming (it's gone well beyond wading) through the posts on SCARF. Didn't see any word on a Rickenbacker factory tour like we were able to for the 75th. Any word on a possibility of this?

I've always wanted one of these, as opposed to the EDS-1275 6/12 string. I've never seen one for sale until now. At this price I can safely say that I will never own one!
