Wasn't there a dealer in Haymarket or Gainseville area? I remember going into a nice shop there in the early 2010s. The shop (Classic Axe Guitar Gallery) has been gone for about 6-7 years now. Jonathan, you could always get those nameplates that guy on FB makes out of wood with a matching wood treble bezel... :shock: :shock: :shock: I could, but I won't. As for the OP...adjust the truss rods when your bass is tuned to pitch...it's even in the manual: http://www.rickenbacker.com/pdfs/manual.pdf

You should always adjust the rods tuned to pitch as Joey says. I'm gonna take a quick look at Paul's book but I really don't think that he said that the strings should have no tension as you adjust the rods...

I believe Sepp bought it from Paul...he was trying to sell it at the end of 2012. I thought about buying it, but it was around the time of Hurricane Sandy and my basement flooded, so I had to direct my priorities elsewhere. I'm pretty sure a Forumite has it...Sepp was selling it for a great price...
