Re: Who can unwind my toasters?

How much can I expect to earn from my toasters? New ones are gonna set me back 450.

Re: Who can unwind my toasters?

Any good, competent pickup guy can do this. If you have any soldering skills, and lots of patience and care, you could do this, too. Without knowing where you are located we can't really provide useful referrals, though. I’m not competent. I’m in LA area. I figure I could ship them out if necessary

What do vintage toasters measure?

Hello,

I have a 1991 Rose Morris 1998 (3 pickups) with toasters on the way. I'm sure these are the "hot" ones, right?

What should these things measure so I can unwind them?

thanks!

I'm just perusing the normal sites. I see examples from 1991 and the 1998 (the year).

Re: RM 1998 pickups and bridge placement

I am assuming that the pickups on the newer models were placed closer together and further away from the neck to allow greater strength between the neck and the body-yes? No. The pickup placement for the neck pickup is always the same - right up against the end of the fretboard, no difference in st...

Re: RM 1998 pickups and bridge placement

Are you comparing Reissues to other reissues, or reissues to originals? The reissue models have little to no space between the bridge pickup and the bridge, while the original vintage models had about 1/2" gap. Thanks for replying. I'm comparing reissues to reissues. One I'm looking at seems t...

RM 1998 pickups and bridge placement

Hello. I'm looking for a 1998 reissue. I've noticed that on some there is a space between the bridge and the bridge pickup. On others, there is no space at all. The pickup and bridge are touching each other.

what's up with that?

thanks.

Mark: Congrats on the new guitar. This one is yours presume. http://rocknrguitars.com/product/george-harrison-1963-rickenbacker-360-12c63/ The frets are a distinctive feature of the Rickenbacker brand. They will last for years. One of my RICS had the frets redone with "Fender" sized fret ...

New C63- great guitar but short frets!

Hi.

Just bought my 3rd Rick. A C63 (for the second time).

I bought it from rocknrguitars.com if you want to see pics of it.

I have to say this is as perfect as a guitar can get. I am curious about the short frets though. How long will it be until I need to get new ones?
