Re: 360-12 with wide spacing: Interference between strings

I know this is an old thread, but wondering how this turned out since I am considering installing the Rickysounds nut. If the buzzing is due to the lower gauge strings hitting each other then wouldn't going to a higher gauge string, as someone suggested, just make the problem worse? I've talked to ...

Re: Strings for 360 12 String?

Greetings!
Now that Ricstrings is no longer, is there a good source for TI 12 string sets?
They really are good and last forever.
Thanks
Mark

Re: "I Come and Stand at Every Door"

Hi. Long time lurker, here. That is a creepy song which gave me nightmares as a young teenager. There was a documentary about the Mississippi River (I think) some years ago which used this tune as the main theme. At the time I didn't know it was a traditional tune and was confounded that McGuinn rec...

Re: Tom Petty Last Night - Only Two RICs

A friend, also at the show, thought the band and the crowd were lathargic. I'm not sure we were at the same show.
Were there any amps besides Vox on stage?

Re: Tom Petty Last Night - Only Two RICs

Greetings. Long time lurker here. We're talking Nissan Pavillion right? Petty played his sig model for one tune, I thought. Maybe for the last encore, American Girl. Mike played the black Ric for a couple of tunes. Yes, lots of 335 action. Mike played his Duesenberg for the one song at the end. Man ...

That big guitar sound on "Its All over Now" always impressed me so it gets my vote.

Re: Looks like Nov is going to be a fun month...To A Tee #3

Greetings,

Long time lurker here. I've purchased the To a Tee videos and they are amazing. Does anyone know about Rob's background? It is interesting that with vol 3 he uses the Vox Tone Lab. Wonder if he would share his settings.
Thanks
Mark

Jimmy Pou, former George player, said in an interview they quit using real amps because flying them from gig to gig became such a pain subsequent to 9-11. I saw them at the Birchmere in VA a short time ago and there were no amps in site. Great sound though. Someone must have spent a ton of time twea...

I remember clearly, when SYWTBARRS was new, asking my self, "Why are they screaming Monkees"? And that was on a a beat up turntable with at best a 6x9 speaker!
