Re: M8E loudspeaker impedance?

Hello, again! My M8E has now been measured. OT is original and loudspeaker impedance is 8 ohms. New Jensen 8" alnico is installed and what a beautiful combo this is. Sound is loud, clear, strong and beautiful! For me M8E was a compromice, because I really wanted to have an older M8 model with a...

Re: M8E loudspeaker impedance?

I withdraw my question. It's impossible to answer, because the OT might be non-original. I'm taking this M8E to my amp wizard to get measured. Meanwhile I installed new Jensen 8" Alnico 4 ohms loudspeaker to it and very carefully did some testing. The thing sings like a bird!! And Rick-O-Sound ...

Re: Rick TR 7 Guitar/Camp combo

Month ago I almost bought one TR7 from Germany (I live in Finland) 'cause I thought price was OK when it was about $40,-

I got one TR25 and it's quite decent amp but I prefer valves and have just aquired B9A and M8E for playing with Rick-O-Sound. What a difference it makes!

Re: Beginning to crave another Ric....do I need a 330?

Yes, you definitely need a 330! I love my 1986 330/12. Rewiring it to stereo took about 40 seconds and I'm not a tech wizard. I also rewired my 320 to stereo and enjoy every moment playing them with two Rickenbacker amps. I made one stereo-to-mono-jack cable for occasions when I want to play just on...
