I agree with you John, but IMO you will only hear a difference unplugged. I mean, in a band setting, how much is it really going to matter? Plunked around on my Casino a bit more tonight. It is louder acoustically then I thought! SO good plugged in. Just need to get setup figured out. Lots of buzze...

Another thing to consider... my '97 with the vib is a solid finish... maybe thicker than this sunburst '05??? Could that play a significant part? It certainly could!
