Re: 300 series return to 21 frets
No way I am spending that much money on something I am not using several times a week. Nevertheless, seems like a high quality item.

Re: 300 series return to 21 frets
There is no hard fast rule as far as the neck depths are concerned. From my anecdotal experiences, the Rickenbackers made from 2002-2006 seem to have the most "girth". An easy way to measure the neck thickness without having to remove the strings is as follows: 1-Take a small watch battery...

Re: 300 series return to 21 frets
I’d love to know more about the new neck profile. Does anybody know if it will be a fuller neck (it’s hard to get them thinner), and if so, the first fret specs and shape details? I’m increasingly finding that neck profile is my key to enjoyable playing. I love my 330 but a fuller, rounder neck is ...

Re: 300 series return to 21 frets
This is awesome. At first I thought I was seeing things while window shopping on Reverb.com. Came here for validation. I JUST got my 330 amberglo refretted. Had I known of these new specs I would have sold it and bought one of these 21 fret jobbers. I find that I keep hitting the neck pickup with my...

Re: Got my first Rick
Probably because the nuts are almost always cut too high. Hopefully the previous owner got that ironed out already. Cool guitar. I hope you like it.

Re: X-Bracing
Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. I did not suspect the 1993 Plus had the X-Bracing as well. Great picture examples as well.

X-Bracing
I have come to understand that Vintage Rickenbackers utilized "X-Bracing" on their guitars. The 360c63 seems to use it as well. What sort of bracing does Rickenbacker use these days? What is the rationale behind the change? Any idea when it was implemented? I am very curious is to if my Ca...

Vintage Bridge vs Modern Bridge
Hello. I have never played a vintage Rickenbacker, but am getting closer and closer to considering ownership. I have noticed the vintage bridges (as well as the "C" series bridges) are a bit different. They appear to have a bolt or washer of some sort at the end of the bridge closest to th...

Re: Why are Pyramid strings suddenly the worst?
I wanted to try those a while ago but the TI's are so good, I haven't had the urge to try something new. I have a question about flatwounds and Ric's, hope I don't seem stupid... Do you achieve the 'chime' like sound with flatwounds on a Ric? I was thinking of making a Ric 360, my only guitar with ...

Edited for being a stupid question. Why I was looking for 360c63's on ebay from Japan is beyond me!

360v64 or 360c63 Visual Distictions
Hello. This is in regards to the following guitar https://reverb.com/item/27397014-2014-rickenbacker-360-6 I asked the seller if it is a 360c63 or 360v64. From what I understand, the only visual distinction (from the outside) is if the guitar has a 7.25" fretboard radius, then it is the 360c63....

Re: Do I need different pickups?
I am not sure what kind of guitar you have, but you may want to check and make sure you do not have the overwound toasters. I had a set of those once and they are DARK! Make sure you have the scatterwounds with 7.8K or less ohms.
All the best,

Re: Plz Help Mastery Bridge for Ric Info needed
If you use a wound G string I would discourage you from buying the Mastery Bridge. It will not intonate correctly. I tried and tried and tried.
Kind Regards,
Steve
