Re: Vintage Pickups: Long pole? Short pole? None?
Someone earlier in this thread cited a guitar with 2 long pole pups in June '66. My 360/12 was built August '66 and has a short pole neck pup. That narrows it down a bit more.

Re: Trying to source a Kluson tuner
I also pulled a non-octave tuner and the post is the same size as the octave on this guitar.

Re: Trying to source a Kluson tuner
This is an octave tuner, so the post measures 1 inch (2.5 cm) from the base plate to the tip.

Trying to source a Kluson tuner
You may have seen my recent post about a bent tuner on a '66 360/12. Well, I wouldn't recommend trying to bend one of these back. As careful as I was, it snapped. It looks like it was cast metal. I've searched online and can't find a source for a single vintage Kluson. I have posted on the "wan...

Re: 2 issues regarding '66 360 12 Fireglo purchase

Of course, this is to be expected given this model and year, I guess. Still, it wa...

2 issues regarding '66 360 12 Fireglo purchase
I'm now a mostly happy Rick owner. However, I have two issues I'd like advice on, please. First, the guitar was marketed as a '65 and when I asked about the S/N, the seller wasn't with the guitar but said it was an E, so '65. It turns out the S/N is FH, so it is clearly an Aug '66 build. So my first...
