Re: Mastery Bridge: Does It Make A Difference?

I found- You’ll “lose” more of “that sound” changing out old strings than you ever will with Mastery. It’s sounds every bit the part to me played super clean through all the Voxes, Fenders, Hiwatts-all sound and behave the same-just clearer without being brighter. The biggest change is prominently h...

Re: Mastery Bridge: Does It Make A Difference?

100% agree with all the posts so far, single best “upgrade” I’ve made. The effect is immediate, but playing live really iced the cake. The only “rocking and rolling” is the player, not the bridge. Changing strings are much easier with the bridge locked to the plate, and setups stay true despite heav...

Amptweaker Defizzerator-finally, somebody gets it right!!

http://www.amptweaker.com/page/DeFizzerator-EQ-Pedal-by-Amptweaker-126.aspx Seriously a Godsend for anybody trying to use fuzz and drives and find them way to bright to use. 330 with toasters into a fuzz pedal going in the top boost channel of a Vox amp can make dogs cry for miles. You turn down the...

Re: Fane Ascension Series

Avatar Speakers now carries the full Ascension line, plus the 2 they had spec'd for them. 6 different Fanes, and the substantial discount they offer really makes them within the reach of about anybody looking to get a great speaker.

Re: Vox AC-15 TVH

I replaced the PVC handles with some nice black leather ones from Brettuns Village. The fit perfect, lay flat when you want them to, and will most likely outlive me. Also, I like to change the jack nuts to the white ones because I like the way they look with the white tolex, and much easier to see o...

Re: Fane Ascension Series

Yes, looks like Avatar has their 2 versions and the 4 Fanes for a killer price. I have not tried the H-75, but the F-70 is utterly awesome with my Hiwatt. The F-90 is perfect for a high power, clean through highest gain combo.just a hair too much for a classic 60s/70s tones. Perfect for modern rock/...

Vox AC-15 TVH

Really stoked, basically have an NOS Vox AC-15TVH 1957-2007 50th Anniversary head on it's way to me. So, The "modder" in me goes online and finds out that basicaly they nailed this amp perfectly and it needs nothing. Wow, I always thought it was a great head, but this just really makes my ...
