However I believe the verb used should be Keef'd ?

Rickenbacker Console 208 date
I just picked up a basket case Rickenbacker Console 208 husk. Serial # is 2666. Any ideas as to the year this guitar was made? I'm sure it was in the mid 1950's but was wondering if I can get the exact year.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I found my plugs on ebay in 10mm & 8mm sizes. It takes some looking as the vendors don't all use the same listing terms.

Re: 1999 Squire Stagemaster Jetglo Rick PUPs
Yes you can if you do David Gilmour's mod by added a PUSH-Pull switch that turns on the neck when the 5 way has the bridge only engaged.

1999 Squire Stagemaster Jetglo Rick PUPs
I just love this guitar! While it's not a true Rick, it's soul is pure Rickenbacker. The guitar is a Jetglo 1999 Squire Stagemaster. I found it in a local pawnshop in bad shape for $80. The bridge was missing parts and the tremblock was stripped out. I was able to track down the missing parts and ad...

620/5 Jetglo Keefered
I finally got all my Ricks set up they way I like them (420,650D,620/12) and I just finished my 2010 Jetglo 620/5. Last year I searched for a 620 and found a nice 2010 620 on Reverb for $1k. It was in great shape so I bought it. 1st order of business was to convert it to a 620/5 Open G just like Kee...

Re: Tuning Issues with my 420 MG
I installed the new Nashville bridge today. I hand an issue with placement as the original string plate was not installed parallel to the nut. The high E string side was just a bit further away from the nut than the low E sting side. It doesn't mater when using the original bridge (the original brid...

Rickenbacker Pots - Audio or Linear?
What type taper does Rickenbacker use in their guitars- audio taper or linear for their volume pots? For their tone pots?
Have they changed over the years?
Thanks!

Re: Tuning Issues with my 420 MG
The Nashville bridge has no greater range ofintonstion than the stocker. One of the biggest problems with just about all 70's Ricks was that the bridges were in the WRONG place, and this includes the basses. Not true. The stock bridge is an aluminum "compensated" bridge much like the styl...

Re: Tuning Issues with my 420 MG
The Tonepros came in and I started to install them. While the Tone pros have the same footprint, the screw holes are smaller and the original slotted screws will NOT fit in the new Kluson Tonepros. Also, the Phillips head screws included are smaller than the original slot head screws that came with ...

Re: Tuning Issues with my 420 MG
I ordered a set of the Tonepros tuners and the Nashville bridge for the 420. Once I'm sure the bridge will fit I'll have Pick Guardian make a new pick guard for it.
