Paul's fretboard and other inlay work

Paul

If I recall correctly you did some amazing work inlaying a fretboard, and you've done some other ornate inlays as well. Mind sharing a few photos? Looking for some inspiration.

Re: GOLD TRUSS-ROD COVER FOR EARLY CAPRI SERIES

This might (and probably will be) a stretch but I've heard of stories like this. If you call the factory you might be able to get them to replace the TRC if you can verify that your story is true. They might need a serial number or something. It might work, it might not. I just thought I'd throw it ...

Hey, the TDPRI and Strat Talk forums figured out how to make apps for their forums! Why couldn't we?

You could have one custom made. I've heard of some services that make amazing flight cases

rick360man wrote:That would be great. I measured the values on my original '83 wiring harness and found that they were a bit unusual. I measured about 450k for the tone pots, 100k for the volume pots and 250k for the 5th knob. Thanks!
I measured:
500K for volumes and blend (5th)
250K for tones

(edit) It's all turned around!
It's also got a TOM bridge and I don't see any other holes so unless it was refinished, that TOM is stock

Re: roller bridges and modern replacements

Hi im new to Ric source. and have been delving in to the forums and came across this dicussion about roller bridges. Are the bridges better than sattle bridges? Not really. The rollers make a lot of noise and, as far as I can tell, don't have any effect on the guitar staying in tune with a vibrato....

That kauffman isn't exactly what I'm looking for...
Do any of you guys have one? I'm probably going to pin it anyways so I'm not worried about it being a "terrible system"

Anybody got a kauffman?

Does anybody have a spare kauffman vibrola?
PM if you do

Re: How do neck profiles compare: 1996, 325c64, 325c58

Definitely not the c58. It has the beefier, less rounded off neck style that was used in the 1950s. I'd say the c64 and the 1996 probably are the same. But I've never played a 1996 so I couldn't say for sure
