Re: Rick 362s

Interesting experience buying the 362. 1. It is much heavier than I thought, but the weight doesn't bother me. 2. Current band will definitely not be using the guitar live. The lead player does not like it at all due to the weight and the simple fact that the 12 neck is significantly thinner than th...

3001 vs 4003s

Both a 3001 ($1200) and a 4003s ($1400) have come available for sale in my area as of late at reasonable prices, the 3001 probably being much more reasonable than the 4003s. I used to own a 4003s and liked it quite alot. How does it play compared to the 3001? Thoughts on the 3001 in general? I have ...

Re: Rick 362s

Aaaannnd.....

Just had an offer to buy one for $6500.

If anyone has sold one recently or seen one sold, let me know. This seems like a decent price, but I can't find any recent info on Reverb, mainly, I suppose, because they don't move that often.

Re: 660/12 ????

I also have been looking at one of these. Have never owned one but would like to. Sadly, there are not enough of them on Reverb or Ebay for me to get a good idea of what they normally go for. Anyone buy one recently?

Re: Rick 362s

I wouldn't play it live. I am the rhythm guitarist in a Rickenbacker-heavy traveling tribute band, and the lead guitarist would play it live. So I wouldn't have to worry about the weight! He plays a ****** Jay Turcer doubleneck now...so this would be a step up, to say the least. It'd be a "spec...

Re: Rick 362s

Yes, I have seen the two on Reverb. One dropped to around $6700 due to a sale, and I was thinking about it.

Do you own a store, or do you know of other 362s for sale?

Rick 362s

I have been thinking about a 362 as of late. Just wondering if anyone has any advice, not only on the pros and cons of owning one, but also how often they come up for sale. I see two available on Reverb/Ebay right now, but they have been up for some time, and are not going for the asking price. Cont...

Re: 1993 plus vs 360 12v64/c63

Will do, thanks. Just have to decide if investing that much in a guitar is a good idea. Of course - it's a Rickenbacker - so the answer will probably be yes.

Found a place online where I might be able to pick one up for $2400. That seems like a steal, no?

1993 plus vs 360 12v64/c63

Hello all: Thinking about taking the plunge and picking up a 1993 plus. Just wondering if anyone has played them extensively and how they compare to a 360 12v64 or c63. It seems I could find a v64 on ebay or reverb for much cheaper than the average 93 plus. Is the extra dough worth it? How do they s...

Re: C63 or V64?

My apologies, gentlemen. Sincerely didn't realize asking such advice for profit wasn't cool. Arguably thickheadedness on my part. I shall stop asking advice! However, please keep in mind I do play a number of Rickies in bands and commonly have six or seven around the house as is. I have been doing m...

Just came the other day and I listed it on Reverb. Too much?

Thoughts?

Re: 325C58MG

Don't understand the allure of the 325. The Lennon thing, I know - but tuning them is painful, especially with a Bigsby, which mine had when I owned one. Plus, it is only slightly easier than playing a mandolin. Baby frets!

What am I missing?

Just out of curiosity, what did you pay for it?
