Re: TR Series Opinions ......
I have a Rickenbacker TR75 2 x 12" combo and it sounds great, in my opinion! The clean sound is amazing. EQ works great, easy to dial in a good sound. VERY loud if you want it to be. Pretty heavy combo (mine has replacement Celestion speakers and is extra heavy). Some folks say they don't dig R...

Re: question about Capri's
I wish I still had that guitar! And I didn't make note of the wiring while I had it, unfortunately.

Re: question about Capri's
My Capri 360 OS was alder. It had the original finish removed, so I didn't see it in its original form. Knobs are not original. To my ear, the toaster pickups on this were unlike current toasters. Very, very hot and bright. With treble dialed all the way up they were sizzling. Slim neck profile. [so...

Re: Opinions: Creamery Toasters
It's not a great video, but I did some comparison between stock hi-gains and a Creamery '63 toaster replacement in the bridge position of my Rickenbacker 360/6 midnight blue. You can see it at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yk5T99tQ4IM Apologize in advance for the intro, but you'll get the gist.

Re: Peter Buck Reverb interview
Yep! That was the show! I didn't know anyone got it on YouTube, thanks for sharing it. And yes, they played the Happy Dog in Cleveland while they were in town too, but I couldn't make that one. Peter used a very spartan signal path for that show, just a Boss TU-2 tuner, ProCo Rat and one other small...

Re: Peter Buck Reverb interview
Meant to upload these a while back, this was Peter Buck with the Baseball Project in Cleveland, Ohio, on July 9, 2019. Beautiful vintage Rickenbacker 375, along with a 330/12 with toasters. Sounded glorious.

Re: Anyone try the m5 mastery bridge out?
Adjustments are a little easier to make (you can adjust intonation with the strings under tension, which is nice). You can adjust the intonation on any stock Rickenbacker bridge with the strings under tension. As well made as the Mastery is, it stops short with only two saddles that make it impossi...

Re: Anyone try the m5 mastery bridge out?
Okay, got the Mastery M5 bridge installed yesterday and did a quick before/after video for comparison. Acoustic only... I intended to do one plugged in as well, but as luck would have it we had a power outage that caused a change in plans. In any case, you can view it at https://www.youtube.com/watc...

Craig Witty, Rickenbacker Enthusiast
Just saw that Craig Witty, one of the frequent Rickenbacker enthusiasts on here, passed away back in March. I had not heard, perhaps a number of you may not have either. https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/name/craig-witty-obituary?pid=188451843&view=guestbook I bought my favorite Rickenbacker, a ...

Re: Anyone try the m5 mastery bridge out?
I ordered one for my 2010 360/6 and it should be arriving here any day. If anyone is interested, I'll shoot a quick before/after comparison with same strings, etc., to see what the audible difference is unplugged and plugged.
