It's most likely a 4005WBBS that we re-necked in the 70s. Look close, this has the 3 piece top which 67 was the last year for.The FB with small inlays came along in 73. We never replaced fingerboards, but we did a few neck replacements when the customer specifically requested it, otherwise they got ...

Yeah, but they are original Grovers. Gretsch used these exact same tuners on guitars in the 50s and early 60s...

If you want a Light Show Bass...find a 3001 Bass and I'll hollow it out and put it all together for you...As for a guitar, it's best to use a 330 6 or 12 string... fortuneguitars@yahoo.com

Well thanks to everyone for enjoying this dream come true for Tammy and Steve...Here's a picture of the latest project I finished last week. Great story Steve...I didn't know about this...I really think you got a great Bass for the money you've invested above the $300 you originally paid....Now tell us how it sounds? I know the toaster in the neck is awesome, but how about that 7K bridge pickup? I only tested it thru my VOX 8 watt Pacema...
