Tom also has a 60's fireglo 425. He has played it live the last two US tours.

Re: Reversed strung Ricks
I went to see The Church in Portland, OR in 2004. Marty played a jetglo McGuinn signature that was strung up TRADITIONAL.
I got to hang out afterwards with the band. I asked Marty why he had his RIC strung up upside down. Marty said, "I like it better that way."

Re: Best amp for a 67' 366/12?
I prefer a higher wattage tube amp for electric 12. One that can get good clean tones without distortion at club volume. AC30's are fab amps but get too distorted and compressed past 4-5 on volume for clean 12 tones. Ceramic speakers also help with cleaner tones. The Roland JC120 also works well for...

I have played Greg Feo's '65 Casino and it RAWKS! My '65 Lennon is near identical in feel and sound. Greg's neck profile is a hair thicker than the Lennon model. My understanding is the profile on the '65 Lennon is identical to Lennon's orignal. The '65 Lennon is one of my favorite guitars and one o...

You bring up good points John. It is true that Capris and their variations are all over the place. An element of handmade design where no guitar was identical to one another. My understanding is that the C58 was designed to be a faithful recreation of how Lennon first received his 1958 325 factory s...
