Re: Craig Witty R.I.P.
That can't be true! I just dropped in here after a while of absence and read this sad news. Too young, too early. May Craig find peace. I still have the 380 L PZ I bought from him. This pancreas cancer is just terrible. My best friend suffered the same and went at the age of 53.

You might also consider to get your hands on a pair of hot toasters. They measure about 12 K. I have a 360V64 with those Pups, they doin fine, not so "thin" like the 7,4 reissues, as you said they are perfect for 12 strings.

Ten Years After
Hi all ! Just want to send some greetings from Germany. Now it's been ten years since I joined this place and loved it to read and contribute, but mainly took the chance to learn a lot about Rickenbacker guitars, so I am more a reader. Also found some nice people here. Even if it got somehow quiet h...

Did J. Hendrix play a RIck ? Cool pic ! Young dude, do what you like, be as crazy as you feel you can afford to be, just go ahead, make your own way and try out things against all odds. When you look back you will know....Older people with some knowledge giving some "good advice" ar...

Eurythmics : Thorn In My Side
Maybe it's not a RIC, the official video just shows an acoustic, but there is definetaly an electric as well. Didn't Dave Stewart used to play RICs ?

Re: 1993Plus!!!
I tried to hold it onto to check spacing and it seemed that the string spacing was narrower than the cutting of the 6 saddles of the stock bridge which it came with

Re: 1993Plus!!!
I really don't know if the 12 saddle bridge was only made to fit the 660/12. Aren't they also on the 381/12 which has the narrow neck ?jps wrote: Isn't the RIC 12 saddle bridge stock on the 660/12 that has a 1 3/4" nut width? Or, am I misinterpreting your post?

Re: 1993Plus!!!
...... But if I decided that I wanted to replace the 6 saddle bridge with the 12 saddle , its pretty much just a drop in mod, isn't it? The 6 saddle bridge might be my only reservation about this model.... I didn't had any tuning issues with the stock 6 saddle bridge so far. Though the second high ...
