I had minor checking on two frets on my '96 in 2001. Darn, I missed out on a warranty refin! :mrgreen: I think that binding is kina a grey area it can easly be construed in part of the finish warrenty 1 year.. the reason i say this is enviorment can play a big part in this.. also non Rick approved ...

what was the issue? In a nutshell, neck binding was cracking at the frets and an extreme tailpiece lift situation. There it is from the man him self......now what they could have did was just replace the bottom neck binding and touched up that area ... Nope not Rickenbacker......new strings....new ...

Well guys I Just had my 07 Geddy Glo in for some warrenty work and all I can say is ...WOW....Not only did they fix the problem they went above and beyond....Now Kenny could have said Nope this issue happens to all guitars....because it does...... Rickenbacker stands behind their product !!! Thanks ...
