Re: Where to buy a new Gibson LP --- Dave's Guitar Shop

+1 on http://davesguitar.com in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Laun Braithwaite is top shelf and among the best peeps in general I have come to know. Although I haven't purchased any Gibsons from DGS, I have scored these five guitars from Laun: Rickenbacker 330/6 MG G&L ASAT Special Semi-Hollow (with Bi...

I refuse to place you in the attic of my memory, Lhasa.

In the last dozen years, no one has connected to my soul more than this singer-songwriter. Her music is haunting, evocative, enriching. Born near Woodstock, New York, Lhasa de Sela really made her mark after moving to Montreal a decade ago. Performing songs in Spanish, English, and French, she coul...

Re: Total Rickenbackers on the RRF!

Okay, I'm reducing the total count by one. Count is updated at 1101. As Jeff Scott has noted, Jake added the Ric he bought from Ron, who if I recall included it previously in the count. This is getting too complicated. I'm headin' back now to Mafia Wars on Facebook. C-U.....Goofyfoot

Re: Janglebox 1 question

It sounds like you might have a weak battery. I agree with Jdog, pop in a fresh one and report back. I am in the process of saving up for a Janglebox 1, and it's my holy grail compressor. It's probably the most versatile compressor there is, from what I hear, and the Janglebox 2 is even better. Whe...
