Re: Help! Reverb Issue With Rick Amp TR-25

Yes, indeed, the dry guitar signal is not reaching the reverb tank, but I know the wire connections are good from the preamp reverb driver to the reverb tank because when one of the driver transistors is touched with the probe, it makes the loud spring noise. This is much louder than just the spring...

Re: Help! Reverb Issue With Rick Amp TR-25

Thanks for the reply, Mr. Hall. I appreciate you taking the time to comment. I neglected to mention that the footswitch on/off jack tested fine on both the reverb and tremelo. I know that the switch is on when I hear the springs vibrate through the speaker from the return circuit. Of course, it does...

Help! Reverb Issue With Rick Amp TR-25

Hey Folks, I recently picked up a fine sounding SS Rick Amp TR-25 on Craig's List. Awesome amp, but the reverb is not working correctly.......actually, I think the reverb IS OK, but somehow the dry guitar signal is not interacting with the reverb driver circuit. The tank is fine, the recovery circui...

Re: Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage movie

Saw "Beyond The Lighted Stage" last Thursday night. Only one showing in Hurst, TX. My song and wife went too and it was very very good! Great insight into the personalities of the band members and the evolution of their music. I will get the DVD for sure, but seeing it on the big screen wa...

Re: Rickenbacker Electric 12 Book - Has Anyone Seen It?

I have had the book for several weeks now. I was never able to buy the first Rickenbacker book which Bacon wrote, and although I realize much of this new one revisits the same information, it is really nice to have a reasonably up to date version. There were really a lot of things happening with RIC...

Re: Charlie Sexton, Arc Angels

I caught these guys last night in Dallas at the House of Blues. Sexton always plays the 330 FG on "Living In A Dream".

Great show. Charlie Sexton played a different guitar on almost every song, but none more beautiful than the RIC !!!

Re: Transonic support

I'm in!

I have a TR-75 as well as a TR-7.

There are still some things about the 75 that i still don't completely understand...I think a group would be helpful!

Also, I would love to get my hands on an intact amp badge for the TR75!

Super A/B videos!

The semi-hollowbodies demonstrate more resonance while the solid bodies demonstrate slight increase in sustain.
