Do I need different pickups?
So knowing the JangleBox is a compressor, can somebody give me an accurate description of how it affects/changes the tone and sound? I’m hoping to get something closer to mini-humbuckers I have in other guitars. If you go to the JangleBox webpage they have several sound clips, with various guitars ...

RIP Kira Moon
I’m very saddened to learn of Kira’s passing. She was active in this Rickenbacker community and I had the pleasure of jamming with Kira at all the BARC events. A great person who will be missed by all who knew her. She wrote good songs, she did some work on Rics with Paul W and was quite a gear enth...

Hi Gains On A 330-12
Ha - yes!!! I'm so pleased you remember that, I had almost forgotten! :D Compared to each other in a vacuum, sure, one can hear the differences. But if you walk in a bar and hear a band playing Mr. Tambourine Man with a Rick 12, even the best of us would have to really focus with our ears for a min...

Hi Gains On A 330-12
