Re: 310 Tuners

Maybe not completely historically accurate, but they look good. Would these work?

Re: 310 Tuners

Might be willing to let the 625 carcass go after I finish the business with the tuners. It appears to have originally been fireglo stripped/refinished to mapleglo. Original wiring harness with pots which date to the 40th week of 1964. As such, it could be a late 64 or an early 65 model. Can't say si...

310 Tuners

I recently acquired a very nice 1980 (TLnnnn) model 310 in mapleglo. It is in excellent condition with a nicely flamed back. I bugs me, however, that at some some the tuners were changed out for mini Grovers. See attached photo. My questions are these: Rickenbacker offers in their boutique a 'short ...

Login Issues

Since the website was updated some time ago, I found that I cannot login from the home page. The message indicates the user-id or password is invalid.......a standard type authentication error. However, if I direct my browser straight to the RRF forum page and then select 'login' from here, my crede...

Re: What color is this?

I have communicated with the seller and the serial number would confirm it is a 1990 model. I have checked RIC color charts as well as every other source that I can think of and I can find nothing to suggest that silver was an available finish in 1990. It could be a special order or a 'one of' but w...

Re: BREAKING UP NICE OLD RICKS FOR PROFIT...

This thread started out with a discussion of a 65' 950JG which I sold on ebay. I want to make clear that I had no control over what the buyer did to the guitar, and had I known this would happen I likely would not have sold it to him. Several months before I put the guitar up for sale I had someone ...

Re: 1950's Console 518

I just bought what I believe is a console 518. It appears to be maple in color; has two 8-string necks and one 10-string neck. The case is missing, as are the legs. However, the three horseshoes are intact and I believe all are working. It comes also with a vintage Morley wah-wah or volume pedal.......

Re: So whats the must have rickenbacker ?

From glancing at the replies on this post, I am amazed that no one mentioned an RM 1993. That would be my first choice, followed by a 360/365 OS, followed by a early 60's Capri.

Re: Model Identification

Yes, I have seen the modified type brackets as sold by Winfield. They are basically sold to accomodate the transition from an R tailpiece over to an accent tailpiece. It looks like my choice will be to either get one of these brackets or to drill a new hole. I just hate to replace half of the vibrat...

Model Identification

Hi, Several months ago I acquired a 1965 model 615 in black. In fact, it is listed on the registry here: http://www.rickresource.com/register/viewitem.php?id=16004&bl=%2Fregister%2Findex.php%3Fstart%3D11400%26order%3D5 As you can see in the photos, not only has the back been sanded down, but the...

Re: Looking for the owner of my Dads old Rickenbacker

If you are truly interested in obtaining one of these models, I might be induced to sell you mine. Listed on the RRF Registry as follows: http://rickresource.com/register/viewitem.php?id=7884&bl=%2Fregister%2Findex.php%3Fstart%3D10200%26order%3D5 It is a 61' from the first year of production; on...

Re: NAMM 2010

"they ultimately make their way to customers via Ric's dealers." As to the guitars featured at the NAMM by Rickenbacker, it sure would be nice if that 381v69FG found its way to my dealer. I am 36 months in on the wait and I would have to think at this point my order would have bubbled up n...

Re: NAMM 2010

What kind of guitar is the one featured in photo set #6..........the double-bound maple guitar? Can only see it at an angle, but it looks like a real beauty.

Re: NAMM 2010

'Absolutely nothing- same gear at the same prices.' Oh wait, the carpets! They're new and the stand has had a makeover too. As you were. I was going to stay out of this,,,, but is that anyway to treat your loyal customers? No news for a year, and this is what they come up with? You can call it "...
