I used Rotospound Stainless for years and found the zing and clang would disappear quite quickly. I switched to Rotosound Nickelwound RS66LDN Standard Gauge strings with a gauge of 105,85,65,45. Yep,definitly looks like wood grain to me. Why not buy it,could be a one-off and its still a Rickenbacker.
