Tangerine anybody?.....i recall a 4001 refinished in baby blue with weird pups here in Liverpool a couple of years ago...i mean if youre going to go all out,then pimp it up.....my baby will remain fireglow that said.....

hi there.....at one time in my life i didnt own a RICKENBACKER bass....and had to make do with lookalike...then children came along,and the bass pushed under the bed....years later a friend needed a rick-a-like for a JAM tribute band...lent it to them for 2 years..then needed my bass as had formed c...

Aye......coupla years ago i tried to buy an aquaintences 4001....he wouldnt sell,so i eventually got my current 4001....jump forward a few years and we both using the same rehearsal room.one night i pull his 4001 out for a closer inspection....guess what,a wolf in sheeps clothing.....not a RICKENBAC...
