Best Guitar Collection On One Song?
Maybe this goes in the guitar collection thread (or The Others if you think it can be topped), but we think this is a nice guitar display. Looks like a vintage 360/12 and Vox Teardrop. The Fenders are probably pretty valuable too, but it's hard to tell. (Also, a nice-looking organ.) HlIegN1unss&...

Janglebox Issue
So I changed the battery in our Janglebox for a gig yesterday and I discovered that it no longer works. I tried two other batteries and didn't get any improvement. I did, however, get the light to go on for a split second, so I'm thinking there's an issue with the power connection... Any input? (No ...

Re: Best Fender Amp RI for Jazz?
Sorry to ignore everyone's advice, but I came across an offer I couldn't refuse. A used Twin Reverb sprang up at a local guitar store for $600. Of course, whoever had it first tried to relic it and did an awful job of it (it appears that all the damage was done with one razor blade), but otherwise e...

Re: Best Fender Amp RI for Jazz?
Thanks for the quick replies. So how much headroom would a Deluxe Reverb have? I've tried to play jazz with my 15 watt Night Train, but solos always sounded like rock because I had to turn it up so much. I'm guessing that was the nature of the amp more than the wattage?

Best Fender Amp RI for Jazz?
I've been looking into getting a Fender amp, mostly for some jazzy cleans with my Gretsch. Sure, I'll play some rock on it also, but they all seem to be able to handle that, + or - pedals. Basically, I've been curious about the Vibrolux and the '65 Twin Reverb reissues. I know the Twin gets solid re...

Ed Sullivan In Stereo - How?
We stumbled upon this, and upon closer examination, our own DVD of the show has the stereo version also. Does anyone have details as to how this was done? It definitely would have been broadcasted in mono... Was the stereo version created by some engineers with EQ's somewhere? Or is it legit? Who kn...

Steel Drum Band?
Yes.
Originally, it was to match the drums, but the Ric 330 sounded pretty good on those calypso songs...

It's a 1997, not a 330... I'm usually pretty good with the models...

Jangliest Song Ever Challenge
This is the first song we wrote. It was about 5 years ago, and we always joked we would try and make this as jangly as possible one day, just for fun. We never got around to it, until now. We thought it would be fun to start an ongoing thread about the jangliest song. Maybe there should be some grou...

Rickenbackers in Pep Band????
A few weeks ago, the bass player and the drummer in my high school's pep band started jamming with some rock riffs in between songs, and our band director asked them if they wanted to find a guitarist and play some rock songs at the rest of the basketball games. They asked me, and, of course, I chos...

This one came up on YouTube recently... One less Ric, but different song (from their newest album, produced by Steven van Zandt).

Snow Day
Snow day here in Kansas City. If you're a dad, and if you're lucky enough to have a home to come back to, you're especially lucky to walk in and see something like this.
