Thanks to all. I visited Ken Joseph and he discovered a bad solder joint on the toaster itself. I hadn't even considered looking at the pickup. I'm up and playing. Thanks Ken!

Hello all, Recently I purchased a toaster neck pickup for my 06 4003. After removing the original hi-gain and installing the toaster, I tested it by tapping on the toaster and it was producing noise. I put the pick guard back on, installed new strings, and plugged her in. No sound from the new toast...
