Re: NGD: 350V63 Jetglo
Thanks everyone. Luckily, I had other Rics to tie me over until the 350V63 arrived. It was definitely worth the wait!

Re: New Vox AC 4
Digging my AC4TV with my Rics. So much so that I want to get the big amp from Vox (AC100), even though I have what I need, my Rics sound so good through this AC4 that I'm barely using my more expensive kit (Bose L1, Marshall JMP-1, Tech 21 PSA 1.1, Tech 21 Character Series pedals). For $250, this AC...

NGD: 350V63 Jetglo
Ordered 9/2006; delivered 3-July-2009. All I can say is WOW! This is by far the best Ric I've ever played. It just kills my fav 370 Blueburst, 330 and 620...and it is SO small! What a feel and sound, the neck feels unlike my other Rics?!! If you've never tried one, it is worth it IMO. Here are some ...

PSA: Ric guitar blowout sale though end of July
MF is running blow-out sale that can't be beat IMO!!!! I called MF today and ordered a new Rickenbacker 330 Fireglo at a very, very, stupidly low, low price. They are selling 330 and 360 models hundreds off retail. Mapleglo, jetglo, fireglo, midnight blue were available on 330's when I called. Not s...

Re: New Vox AC 4
I just ordered one yesterday. Should be here this week. I plan to try it with my JangleBox too. I have the Tech 21 Liverpool which does provide a great range of vintage Vox tones (I'm still amazed at how good it sounds for a pedal). I run it into my Bose L1 and it gives my Rics the classic jangle an...

Re: Rick / AC30 Settings
Thanks for the info, Paolo! I'm leaning toward the handwired version though I just took a detour as a deal came up on a Randall RM4 with several modules. If this works well with my current set-up, I'll sell off the modules I don't want, and get the Vox and early Marshall modules, and in time get an ...

Re: Rick / AC30 Settings
How does the CC2X compare to the Hand Wired AC30? What are the main differences? How extreme? Is the handwired worth the extra money?paologregorio wrote:I have a Vintage AC30, a HW AC 30, and a CC2X AC30. I think the CC series amps ARE great! ...

Re: Group Therapy for Ric Owners-In-Waiting
Waiting for:
350V63 Jetglo
4003 Fireglo
Both ordered 9/2006
I have Rics to use in the interim, but I don't have a Ric bass or anything with toasters.

Bob, Sounds great! Let me know if you convert anyone to the L1! :) James, see the info/manual and preset information on the T1 ToneMatch System; there's info on the wiki that describes presets and different ensemble usage models. http://toonz.ca/bose/wiki/index.php?title=Bose_L1_Encyclopedia_FAQ_%26...

Re: Thanks to Fender - No More Rick Case Queens!
Bob, If you don't have a T1 for your L1, I recommend it! The presets for the Rics are amazing, and it provides great tone control for your instruments, decent effects and managing the L1 system. I also have a Bose L1 (Model II, with two B1 bass modules, and T1 ToneMatch Engine). I use it with my Ric...

Re: What kind of guitar player are you?
I played both rhythm and lead long ago, even played as the only guitarist in a 4 piece (vocalist, bassist, drummer and me on guitar). I was ok on lead, and found better lead players over time, and I switched to rhythm with a few leads or even as a second lead...though we (me, other guitarists, drumm...
