Whoops, miscounted, mine only has 20 haha, Yeah i can see going that route but I dont think I could do any work to my bass, its my baby maybe try building a bass with rick pickups and slap a 24 fret neck on it or somethen.

Hey guys, I've been doing some research and couldn't find a clear answer, do you know if there's anyway you can get a custom ric? My Ric has 18 frets and I'd like to have a neck that has 24 frets, I play lead a lot and my old schecter bass had 24 frets and was very nice to have if needed. Do you kno...

Hmm... I think Chris might have influenced Cliff, he used phasers, wah pedal and fuzz which Cliff used in his solos so I can see that! We haven't been to NYC yet but we are planning it, my guitarist's old band called Devil Moto went there I think a few years ago, they may have used some of those lyr...

Hey guys I need to replace my E tuning peg and I'm looking for one where I can flip it to drop d. Does anyone know what brand/kind to get for my 4001? I want to order the right one that will fit and not give me any trouble. What do you guys recommended?

Thanks guys! We are trying to get the whole Grand Funk, The Who sound with a bit more soul into it. My Ric's a 1980 4001, Shes my baby, I still couldn't pick another bass up live while playing.
