Re: SCARF Head & Instrument Count
I'm a newbie and I'm coming!
Only have 1 Ric to bring. Should I bring my AC15 Heritage?
I hope someone there has a 660/12 I can ogle to see if that should be my 12 string or a 300 series.

Re: SoCal Annual Rickenbacker Confluence '09
What race will be going on that weekend? The Monterey Sports Championships featuring the American LeMans Series. Usually has the full contingent of the LeMans series cars (and Audi may being their R15 over for Petit LeMans at Road Atlanta then the series finale at Laguna Seca). They usually have th...

Just so happens I am going to be in Monterey on the weekend of 10/9-10/11 for the races at Laguna Seca. Maybe a Monterey confluence that week, too?jps wrote:Plan one for theSF/Monterey area in October and we'll be there!rickenbrother wrote:Are the Cleevies coming?

Re: Sheet Music Sites
We had a great sheet music store here that closed last year, just as I was getting interested in buying some charts for some older songs. One of my local music stores now has a services where they can download/print whatever sheet music in the database library and you buy it so the copyright/royalty...

Re: SoCal Annual Rickenbacker Confluence '09
I haven't been in that area since my year at UC Irvine back in '73.
So is there a cost and can sucky guitar players come? I'm a geezer who started trying to play when I turned 50.
I can play rythym to a lot of Petty songs and "Mr. Tambourine Man".

Re: Group Therapy for Ric Owners-In-Waiting
Bert, Sorry to hear the order was cancelled. What a bummer! I guess just too many guitars and basses trying to be shoved down the line and not enough capacity. Still hope you can find one NOS or used. JimK, Yes I hope to have it by this week. Appears the 6 strings have now been moving out of the fac...

Re: Group Therapy for Ric Owners-In-Waiting
Well I must have the acute version versus the chronic version JimK, Bert and Chris have. I ordered the 360/6 FG on Wed, July 2 and it's not here yet  ! I guess the acute version is not quite as bad as the chronic version, but us acute people need just as much therapy! I got my tracking number...

Re: Plugging in with hi gains
My thoughts are on a Deluxe Reverb, it has 4 jacks, 2 for the normal channel and 2 for the reverb channel. The jacks are usually wired so the first input is hot and the 2nd is a 6dB reduction. Same goes for the AC15 Heritage (which has 2 completely separate pre-amp routings). I use input "2' fo...

Plugging in with hi gains
I bought a 360/6 and while I'm waiting for it to arrive; I was wondering if the hi-gain pick-ups are more like a humbucker or single coil output for plugging into the amp.
For example, are you using input 1 or 2 on a Deluxe Reverb, ditto for an AC15 Heritage.
Thanks for the replies
