Re: Intro and an Obscure Amp?

How do you get the patent number? The USPTO site allows only Patent Number and you just cannot access the site to find out the number. It is also stamped " PAT 2804499 " in black ink, into the back of my Rickenbacker amp, on the bottom lip of the cabinet underneath where the tape board go...

I am attaching scans of the 2-page article in Adobe PDF format for anyone wishing to have a read. As well, anyone wishing to see the complete restora...

Re: PROTOTYPE FENDER BASSMAN 5D6 - ECHOSONIC EKOSOUND OR STANDEL

Since I've been getting mail about this for some time, I just wanted to let everyone know that I sold my 1954 Fender Bassman SN 0013 to a guy in Taipei City Taiwan for 5 grand. He paid a thousand dollars to ship it there, which is what UPS wanted for this. He received it in 3 days. I highly recommen...

(Argh! those Selmers apparently didn't sound too good...but they are appealing to the eye. Eddy Cochran couldn't stand to use them....) So here's yet another post on this thread, not sure who's still following. But for history's sake, here's the direct full color scans of the tape delay board. I too...

Re: Rickenbacker M-30 Ek-O-Sound Amplifier

Hi Paul, Yeah, it :would: be nice to get a hold of some of that elephant-like grey material...but it wasn't tolex. We had a forum exactly about this, remember? You were there!! : http://www.rickresource.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=389698 BTW, one of your posts on page 2 of that forum mentions...

WARBLY TREBLE FIXED - ECHO TAPE DELAY BOARD

Hi all! For those of you still following or interested, and perhaps also some others out there with similar symptoms, my tape echo had a problem following the restoration project: the treble notes sounded warbly (bass notes were great!). So I found 2 proper idler wheels from ebay (WALSCO # 1432), an...

Doctor Who Made This Possible

Hi Doc, Well, it was your post on this very thread, page 1, Tue Oct 05, 2004 2:52 pm, that really got me looking into the patents and digging through the Internet. And after that, you had sent me the patent number, and it took off from there. All the information provided herein is presented to all a...

Re: Rickenbacker M-30 Ek-O-Sound Amplifier

Hi Milo, Although no one has posted any notes here as of late, I was thinking perhaps they are simply in awe from the photos ;-) No, seriously, I am simply providing information for this to be available for others online, forever. This is so hard to come by, no one knows how to fix them, everybody w...

Figured this might be handy for people, since I've been asked so many time for this.
