Re: Legit 4003?
It may be legit, but it's a high price for Toronto. The same model is available at L&M for around $1800. The asking price in the ad is more than I paid for my SnoGlo at L&M.

Re: First SnowGlo Flip
The finish is not metallic. It is a pure, balanced white. It is a white so pure that the binding appears ivory in comparison. The name 'SnowGlo' is ideally suited to the finish.DriftSpace wrote:Is it metallic white?

Actually, the bass is beautiful as she is. When the sun is right, I'll take some pics, then post to the forum.

Re: First SnowGlo Flip
I've brought the SnowGlo home. She's just so awesomely beautiful. Mind you, the wheels are turning. I can see a horseshoe + a toaster added. Also, a back painted white guard. Mind of a tinkerer.

Re: First SnowGlo Flip
I'm going to pick up my new SnowGlo today after work. In the meantime, this afternoon is dragging by incredibly slowly. This is the first brand-new, store bought bass or guitar purchase I've made since 1981. I've always preferred buying used. However, the white/white/chrome of this 4003 is just too ...

Re: Moody Blues "Forever Autumn" cover
Another great cover. Love your work. Please tell, which Cole Clark FL do you have? It sounds great. I'm not so sold on my Ovation 12, so the CC might be something to consider. If you'd PM me on the specs of the guitar & sticker price for the guitar in your area, I'd really appreciate it. Great t...

Ummm ... perhaps this sounds odd, but I'm actually keeping my eyes open for the three p'up version of this Teisco guitar. If you know of one available in decent condition & at a reasonable price, please PM me.
Thanks

Re: Ebay Rick 480
I'm just rushing through without reading all posts, so forgive me if I'm restating, but.... Doing a neck-set on a bolt-on is as easy as giving a cat a Dutch Oven. That quick, done. I had a '74 480 MG ... and I've missed it ever since. If the price is right ... and it seems OK currently ... and all e...
