Re: Sweetheart Of The Rodeo 50th Tour

It's hard to add much more to what's already been said, but here's my summary of the show: Wife and I saw the second of two shows at the Capitol Theater in Clearwater, FL last weekend. I had seen McGuinn (twice) and Hillman (once) at the Wildey Theatre in Edwardsville, IL. where I was the Lead Usher...

I guess great minds think alike. Now you need to add a jetglo 4003. :)

Congratulations, and enjoy!

Re: Does Rickenbacker send anything back after the warranty card

I asked the same question on the RIC Forum in Feb 2011 after sending in the warranty card on my 330/12 and receiving no acknowledgement. Here's John Hall's reply: "There is no response sent to warranty cards received. Anyone who wants some type of verification should use one of the various retu...

Re: Praise for Rick's Basic Product Line

Great debate going on here. I'll add my 2 cents: It has to cost more to manage many guitar lines - logistically it would be a nightmare. One would have to determine how many of each model to make in each of the possible variations, then work those variations into the production line, product brochur...

Re: Possibly moving to Washington DC....help!

Lived in Chantilly for 10 years, commuted to Bethesda area and Reston area. Where you decide to live is dependent on many variables - how much you can spend on housing; desirable time limit for work commute; there's 1 official RIC dealer in Gainesville, way west off of 66; Fairfax County school syst...

Re: An Old Friend is Back Home!

Outstanding! And a beautiful pair for sure. Wish some of your good fortune would rub off on me - I'd like to find the 450/12 jetglo that I sold to finance the rest of my college back in 1976. Stephen Stills bought it from my consigner, Stills evidently no longer has it and I've lost track of it. Sigh.

Re: Do guitars get jealous?

Or maybe I should have asked if they fret about the attention the others are getting? "330/12 I'm doing the best that I can, I've only got two hands!" Great comments so far. :D BTW, I'm finally getting used to playing the 4003 (I've had it since December) after P-bassing it for a long time...
