Re: 2022 4003 CB SMG "Limited Edition"
@sunsetjunk: I wonder do most US citizens have $2,000+ that they can spend on a bass these days? Or an understanding spouse? If not then probably everyone not in the top 15% of earners in the USA are finding US made instruments out of their financial reach unless they have serious bass priorities. ...

Re: 2022 4003 CB SMG "Limited Edition"
Ya, for a limited edition with the checkerboard binding I would have thought these would be fetching a pretty penny, especially with the 22s having the walnut strip in the neck :?: Not sure why it's not more desirable? As much as I like it, it still doesn't have the mystique of a JetGlo to me. The p...

2022 4003 CB SMG "Limited Edition"
Wow! I just picked this up last week from WildWood guitars in Colorado. What an improvement over my last 4003 Walnut. New bridge design, single truss rod, skunk strip, checkerboard binding, unfinished neck, vintage knobs, and a perfect mechanical and cosmetic build. I wasn't sure I was going to like...

Re: RIC-Made Treble PUP Bezels Available!
The cricket sounds are coming from RIC. They haven't responded to my polite requests to discontinue using my trademarked Treble Bezel™ name. I did create another website with my Domain name "The Treble Bezel". The new website is still under construction, it will be refined over the coming ...

Re: Treble Pickup Surround Screws
Have you looked at McMaster Carr?
Each item in their online catalog has detailed mechanical specifications listed, along with PDF drawings and downloadable CAD files of the parts.
Here's a link to their screw pages.

Yeah guys, thanks for the support, but be civil. Hopefully the Trademark infringement issue will work out. We'll see.

Re: RIC-Made Treble PUP Bezels Available!
Guys, thanks for the support! It’s really moving, how many emails I have received from current and past customers regarding their displeasure of the situation. I for one am moving on, and the support has made it much easier to do so. I believe in the free market, and I believe in my product. I think...

Re: RIC-Made Treble PUP Bezels Available!
@Ilan No, I wasn't contacted by Rickenbacker regarding the use of my "Treble Bezel" name or my designs. This is more a moral than legal issue in this situation. I have been making the original Treble Bezel since 2010. First 2 years were CNC machined and Soft touch top coated until I could ...

Re: Chrome Textured Treble Pickup Bezels (Tubeampology)
Hi Kenny, That is weird. Does your bass have the stock Hi Gain pickups in it? Is the pickup mounted crooked? It would help if you could send or post a picture so I can see what's going on. If you have an HB-1 or a Hi Gain with the chrome ring installed in the treble position you would need your beze...

Re: GC Rickenbacker 4001S Special?
Hi Jim It's true that everything like pickups, tailpiece/bridge/saddle slots should be lined up/ centered relative to the neck centerline, with distances relative to the nut maintained. Outside body dimensions should NOT be used as reference for line up. Outside dimensions do not come into play as f...

Re: GC Rickenbacker 4001S Special?
Oh yeah, a couple of more things I would like to mention. Ric fully stands behind their product with a 5 year warranty. I'm sure they would fix these issues if contacted. A few years ago I bought a new 4003 FireGlo. After spending some time with it I noticed an issue with the fingerboard, took some ...

Re: GC Rickenbacker 4001S Special?
2014 bridge.jpg I have been following this post and have tried really hard to stay out of it, but I feel I should share my recent 2014 Mid Blue purchase experience. I just picked this bass up a few weeks ago, brand new. It's by far the best Ric I have owned and currently own but it had it's share o...
