Re: Let's stop the serial number madness

Stop the madness!! Let's imagine for a minute these were automotive VIN. Collecting/posting these would be illegal in the United States. Why shouldn't that respect be paid to other belongings? Plus the register will NEVER be complete and is riddled with inaccurate information. Why even bother? I lo...

Re: "cheater" toasters....

eh, I've held off on the idea of any "drastic modification" as I'm wrestling with the idea of selling it ... unless anybody has a Les Paul they'd want to swap for it. I'm really pining for a LP and the only way I see that happening is selling or swapping my 650C cos it sure ain't gonna be ...

Re: ohh wonderful day!!!

Nice! Looks like a 59 Capri.... Did the owner share any info on it? :D He said he's had it for quite a while. He was a very nice fellow in his 70s or 80s and really admired how I instantly recognized it as a '59 Capri. We got to talking and he apparently swapped a Martin for it sometime ago. He did...

Re: Love my Rics but its time for a Tele. Ric/Tele owners he

I agree with the consensus on the Strummer model. Still kicking myself for passing on a nice one a while back. But what I do have is the affinity butterscotch model that was $150 new. It's actually really decent. Seems it's hard to go wrong with such a simple, classic design. 8) that's a great poin...
