Re: RIC Outlet 360 WB Wide Neck Gun Metal Blue

Coming from me, this might sound somewhat contrary, but...Color schmolor...This thing is a player..Nice neck, and Humbuckers, seriously, this baby can rock..I've heard it. Different, and unique, but undoubtedly Rickenbacker..

Shouldn't have to wait long! Got another one coming up soon..It has fewer strings though..We had to hire a blacksmith to put the pickups in too..What a PITA...Perhaps I've said too much....

Certainly more satisfying than getting a measly Grand out of a custom "one off" Rickenbacker Bass neck...

Re: Ok, Here it is!

It's not really even close, even though the pics might suggest otherwise..The CS bass color has more yellow, and this guitar is most certainly on the brown side of "cream" color..The contrast with the black binding and hardware is pretty striking in person.

I know, and although frustrating, I shall say no more about it here...Just a "few beers" induced rant which stops here :)

And of course, there's the expected bashing of this on another forum that shall not be spoken of...Pity how grinding an axe is more important than appreciating an instument for what it is...Having said that, whoever gets this better PLAY it, because this thing plays soooo awesome..It doesn't deserve...
