The best thing about this bass is that I'm immediately comfortable playing it...

Some of that is the flats, some of that is the neck but mostly it's because if it gets dropped or scratched, no f***s will be given because I will have none to give.....

It does sound good though...

So... I decided I wanted an old banger to keep around the house and not locked away like my 4003 & 4004 (so the wee ones can't get their mitts on them). So I bought a husk off the bay for about £350 and then started the long arduous task of buying parts... The bass was knackered and it's still a...

W series would look better with no binding on the body and a dark wood fret board....

Blimey I bought a 79 husk last summer for under £300 plus the wire loom pick guard an jack plate....Serial # SB683 Those hard to get items will always sell though....I bought a trc for £100 which stung a lot....however I had placed a for bid £200 previously but I lost that to some other poor soul......
