Kluson three on a plate tuners should fit right on without a problem. The Ace is a fine guitar.

Re: Case For Model 59
A baritone ukulele case Is a reasonably good fit for these models. The accessory compartment in the case needs to be removed, and some extra padding added around the lower bout of the steel guitar a snug fit.

Re: Rickenbacker Electro 6 string lap steel-unknown Model
It looks similar to the S/NS model shown in the attached listing. It is listed as 1950.

Re: Require dating of this Ricky Panda please
Silver plates, serial number and controls on opposite sides indicate a prewar instrument. Also, the back of the neck would have a slight curve near the body junction, as opposed to straight on the post war models. Not sure if a Panda tag applies with silver plates though.

Re: Rickenbacker Triple Neck?
It does look that way to me. I can't quite make out the number of strings on each neck either. I can just barely play a double neck on my lap. A triple neck like that would need a stand for sure.

Re: Rickenbacker Triple Neck?
Thanks for the link to the catalog pages. It boggles the mind to think a quad neck might actually exist.

Re: Rickenbacker Triple Neck?
Those are beautiful triple necks, but the wooden body guitars were most likely Mr. Halls designs. I was really inquiring about the metal body bakelite neck versions that Mr. Rickenbacker designed. I have a double neck metal body/bakelite neck version that I refer to as the boat anchor. The hollow me...

Rickenbacker Triple Neck?
On page 43 of Richard R Smith's excellent book about Rickenbacker, he mentions that triple neck steel guitars were available before 1950. Assumeing this would have been prior to the sale of the company, I've been wondering if the attached photo shows one of them, and if anyone has seen one in person.

Yes you can have the bobbin rewound, then reassemble everything. You might also want to consider having the horseshoes remagnatized while It's apart.

Re: dot inlays
They are the 13/64" size, and will most likely require a little filing around the circumference to fit in.
PS: I've heard Jerry Byrd recommended typewriter correction fluid. It does sound much easier.

Re: Rick Electro Vibrola help needed
The best place to start would be the Rickenbacker book by Richard R. Smith. pages 49 and 50 show the patent drawings for this model including cutaway views of the innards. I'm sure it would be extremely difficult to fabricate the necessary pieces from patent drawings. The back of the body seems to b...
