Re: Vox AC-15 TVH

Hey. I understand that this topic is outdated, but I still want to remember about guitar amplifiers. I have pretty good guitar skills, and I want to buy a new guitar amp. My choice was a vox. When I looked at the vox ac15c1 review , I realized that I wanted to buy such an amplifier, because it has ...

Re: Introducing the Al Cisneros Signature 4003S

The upgraded Version 4003S comes with an improved dual truss system. Of course, the famous solid bass tones, the ringing sustain and triple beat that we are known for make this a dream. Not surprisingly, we received a standing request to return this.

Re: A question about truss rods

Guitars are amazing. When a guitarist wakes up on a glorious summer’s day, they simply amble down to the park with an acoustic. Although, the same can’t be said for a drummer who has a 10-piece kit, who has to lurk in their waterlogged basement, battering away in the gloom like Gollum. I looked at a...

rattling and harmonic

Whenever I pluck the open D string on my 4003, There is a rattling coming from somewhere in the bridge if hit hard enough, the other strings are fine, and the D is also fine when fretted. also, there is a fairly loud harmonic which I have determined to be a B when I hit the open D at any velocity, a...

Re: My collection

The martin sound amazing, everyone always comments on how great it sounds. Its got a very open type of tone, and I love it! The upgrades do make a difference in tone, but not huge. but its only about $60 for the pins+saddle so I figured WTH haha.

My drums need to be upgraded next, new skins I think

Re: My collection

I think it was, it was very pingy and ringy sounding. It was also a little smaller, and didn't really pick up the low frequency content

Re: My collection

thanks everyone. I am quite proud of my collection. To answer some questions, that cardboard looking thing is actually a piece of tape wrapped around the strings to stop them from ringing when I choke them on the other side of the saddle. I'm pretty sure I can get some kind of foam, but this is all ...

Sexy 4003

hey everyone! I just bought a 2011 ric 4003 in Fireglo. I am really happy with the tone. Its a bit hard to play since the neck is so much bigger than my last Bass, which was a cheapo Ibanez starter kinda bass that wasn't a full scale instrument. anywho, I was looking for a white pearloid pickguard. ...

Re: Ready for first purchase

Exactly! Yea my dad is open minded, and he's taught me to be open minded. Thats why I started looking at Rickenbackers. Otherwise I would only have my Strat, which I also love. This guitar is so beautiful that it even convinced my friend who plays heavy music and mostly plays Ibanez and Schecters to...
