Thanks for the warm welcome. I am currently using a Peavey TKO 115. It provides plenty of thump for the small venues (can you call a bar a venue?) we play. The thumbrest was something my brother-in-law made. It is a bit long in that it runs the entire side of the pickguard, parallel to the strings. ...

Yeah, I'm very pleased with the new Rick. I too enjoy older innstruments, but when it comes to me owning one, I do prefer to be the first owner. BTW I did order it online from Musician's Friend. It arrived with no problems whatsoever. I do have a set of Elixer Nanoweb strings that I just put on it. ...
