Re: Midnight Blue Question

I usually do it with straps & guitars, but don't get EXACTLY the same hue like you do. Well done!

Re: Midnight Blue Question

Wow! thought I was making a fashion statement by having matching straps for many of my guitars, but GEESH!, even a blue capo! Very cool  ...I assume you like blue?

Re: Will tailpiece change solve my problem?

Other than the looks(I'm leaning towards the harp), is there any reason why one or the other is better? harp or trapeze?

Thanks guys!

Re: Will tailpiece change solve my problem?

There isn't a hole like on a trapeze. Just slide the string under the tailpiece and hook the ball end into its slot. Then keep tension on the string with your right hand (to keep it seated), while you string it into the tuner without left hand. OK, so in answer to my question...the trapeze 12 strin...

Re: Will tailpiece change solve my problem?

I can't even get the ball end seated in the tailpiece  . It looks like with the trapeze it threads through a hole rather than seating in a channel. DOES it have a hole to string through?

Will tailpiece change solve my problem?

I have a 370/12 that I am unable to change single strings on. Will replacing my "R" tailpiece with a trapeze from here:http://winfieldvintage.com/parts/conversion-kits.html solve my problem? WILL it be easier to change a single string than with the "R"?

Thanks in Advance,
Tony

Re: Torres super mid range tone control in a 350

Try push/PUSH pots from Allparts for switching. I've had them in another guitar for over 10 years with NO issues. Fast & no worry about gripping knobs.

Replacing an E string on a 370/12 W/ "R tailpiece"

OK, this is embarassing , but I spent an hour just trying to get the ball end locked into the R tailpiece! I know to use a capo or tape further up the neck, but unless you get the ball end seated, that info is useless! DOES anybody have a way to guide it in to get it seated? I can't change a w...
