Have a closer look, it's a regular TOM with the saddles slotted for pairs of strings. So it's the same as Gibson has used on all their electric 12's since the 60's. Did Rickenbacker have the 360c63 in early 1990? Hi Peter, The 360/12c63 came out in late 2005.
