Re: How tune Ric 325 12string
Thanks. Got momentarily confused by the reverse octave order Ric strings. Found a tuner online for the 4 octave EADGs to get the sound as a backup to 12th fret tuning, which is tight on the small size Ric. I'm ok!

Re: NAMM 2013
Any chance we will ever see a revival of the Ric 325 C64 (or C58) Lennon 12 string? On my wish list!!!

Beatles use of Bigsby
OK, so George's Gretsches had Bigsbys and John HAD to have a Bigsby put onto his Ric 325 alder, but are there any photos or movies actually showing them using a Bigsby? I am sure those of you who really have listened for it can probably give examples of where one hears a Bigsby vibrato in one or mor...

Re: Keep 325 trio intact?: C58, V59, C64
All back together again:) I had sold the maple V59 and... yes, you guys were right, regretted it, BUT there was still something not right about that particular V59. So... I have been able to track down another one in MG and much better, like new, than the other. So the trio are intact again. Yeah, y...

Re: Keep 325 trio intact?: C58, V59, C64
Sold the V59 maple. Sniff. Regretted it. But there was something not quite right with the bowtie bridge that was added on. Maybe find another V59 someday. My fav of the three is still the alder C58.

Re: Keep 325 trio intact?: C58, V59, C64
Just wanted to say that I am still getting acquainted with all of them and eventually will whittle down the pile. The trouble is you can't usually see and try all these in one place over and over and compare without acquiring them. So I am just figuring out what I want for my core. As for regular le...

Here are photos of the Ric 325s (jetglo C58, maple V59, and jetglo C64), plus my Georges: Duojet and Tennessean.... The alder 325C58 and the Duojet are my favorites to handle.

Re: Keep 325 trio intact?: C58, V59, C64
Well, yes it was great fun to track all three down and acquire them. If the V59 were not a gorgeous maple, it would be a cinch to give it (it's heavy) up and remain with the two that JL actually played, the 325C64(very cool- and my first Ric) and the 325C58 (love the alder). But I guilt trip myself ...

Re: Keep 325 trio intact?: C58, V59, C64
Oh gosh, someone has asked me again if I will sell it (V59). If they wanted my very old Gibson 12 string acoustic, that would be easy to relinquish. You guys are right about seller's remorse, esp. on a Ric forum!! I'll take some pix for you. Surely there's info somewhere on here about how to upload.

Re: Keep 325 trio intact?: C58, V59, C64
Yeah, I got a reply! Thank you! Will consider. Guess I would miss it (V59) if I let it go, since it is a rare item these days, and it was pretty fun to search them out in the first place. I love the sense of humor and camaraderie on this forum. It's so generous and friendly. Why aren't my neighbors ...

Oh, just wanted to suggest that the center lead guitarist move over so we can see the drummer. He is always hidden in your videos. But very nice sound and singing. Yeah yeah yeah!

Keep 325 trio intact?: C58, V59, C64
I have this special 325 trio of the C58 (alder- love it) JG, V59 bee-u-ti-ful mapleglo, and C64 JG = all new or very recent. Every once in a while I think having the three is too much and the V59, not being really what JL played, ought to go. But then it is so lovely in mapleglo and perfect conditio...
