Re: Rob Allen Fretless 5
Both are actually priced nicely. The Veillette , I'm sure you noticed has two cracks at the bottom which Joe himself said are stable. I guess I'll look at the seller's return policy because I really want it in my hands first.

No, no, no! They are calling you Markie! Trust me it's Marquis :)[ quote="RickyBubba"]Quality decal makers are a dime a dozen. Just get a decal made to your liking, and pimp up another bass! Done and done...[/quote] I know I could but, I just like the bass what can I say?

Re: Someone help me get this bass
Actually it's because it's inexpensive and the headstock brand is Marquis.
My bandmates in a Soul band I perform with call me Marquis.
I know there are Harmony Marquis basses floating around. I would take one of those instead as long as it was playable

Re: Mitch Easter & Steve Carr
I plan to hire him to mix a couple of new tunes of mine in the very near future. So please don't give him any ideas that will take up too much time

Re: Mitch Easter & Steve Carr
I need to see the whole video. I'm about 1/2 way through
Anyway. isn't FIdelitorium cool?
Mitch Easter is the best mixperson on this planet. Maybe a Martian with some out of this world console can do better, but on Earth, my money's on Mitch

Re: Chris Kosnik - Monster Magnet
I could be wrong but, I think Monster Magnet regularly had a Rickerbacker bass user in the band Chris joined forces with them last October. He's a pretty ferocious bassist as can be seen here:
