SONS Records - Rickenbacker only label...!
Anyone seriously into Ricks should check this label in the UK - uses only Ricks going through old Vox amps - AC15 / 30 & 50 - and not necessarily the sound you'd expect! https://www.facebook.com/sonsrecords/

Anyone know who this is?
Hey! Just found this great video of Etta James. There is a guy in her backing band playing what I think is a 58' Capris. He really brings out what a Rickenbacker should sound like!
Does anyone know who this is?

Thanks

Re: What should I do?
I've got a pick-up reading meter thats how I know its dead. The guy who had it before me must not have looked after it very well. He also sanded it down to a plain finish. It used to be fireglo. Will that effect it's value?

What should I do?
I got this new bass a couple of weeks ago, it's a 1977 4001. The front pick-up doesn't work and I have to get a new one. So I was thinking should I buy a vintage toaster pick-up and a horse shoe one or should I just buy a hi-gain one? Would it better to keep it the same for year? I'm not sure. Thank...

Re: Record Label Only Using Rickenbackers
It's got the vintage pick ups so it's got the sound. and I'm not to sure of the year because they were first issued in 1963 anyway. I'll find out the year for you

Record Label Only Using Rickenbackers
I've just started working at this record label in the UK and they only record using vintage rickenbacker guitars with vox amps. I think you all should check them out to hear some of the rick's that are used. I know they use: 4001 C64 1964 330S 325 but not sure of the year. This is only to name a few...

Vintage Knobs PLEASE HELP!!!!
Hi There I made a post about a month ago about looking for some 1950's knobs for my 4001 bass. I haven't had any joy in finding them and time is now of the essence as I'm gonna be needing them for a photo shoot very soon so if you do know anyone please could you put me in contact with them. Or if an...
