Re: RIC Wood Sourcing

Don't you want to make all those butcher block countertops and island for your kitchen? No, I have a stash of curly maple for that. Like the two stashes I have (flat and rift sawn red oak, and quarter sawn white oak)? Nice! Our new dining room set is quartersawn white oak.

Of course, I'd have to cut down all the hard maple, black cherry, walnut and hickory first.

PA is way too cold for rosewood. You need to be in zone 10 at least.
And Southern Cal is too dry.

Just joking anyway.

Okay, sounds like a plan. I'm sure you have some use for all that cut down wood planned already, right?

Re: Lets talk about horseys

I believe so.
The C64 should have a scatterwound toaster, but maybe later V63's had them too.

Re: Horseshoe WITHOUT the Cap

IMO, the most classic "Rick" tone is the toaster with a capped bridge pu combo. Either hg or hs.

I’ve played one and the output of the bridge pickup was very low and trebly (genuine horseshoe obviously), but I don’t know whether there was a cap o...
