A negative of Germanium transistors is that -in general- they are sensitive to temperature, which means your fuzz will sound different on a cold day compared to a hot one.

That is pretty hot looking. kudos!

Let us know what you think about the new pedal. I'm curious why you returned the Pickle--although I suspect I may know why. It's definitely not a Muff clone, and if you had an MKII and didn't adjust the internal pots to suit bass, that couldn't have helped either. It's 100% a muff clone... Btw. Wel...

I think iconic is the word. The 4004 looks a bit like dessert, I think the 4003 might be my main course

That sure is a killer, but that has the older ONE piece necks and has the VVT mod. The stock version is just a simple VOLUME/TONE with a pickup selector switch. This one is modded to have a stackable volume/tone switch for each pickup. If you like a flat, wide neck, this would be great. The new 400...
